Integral Yoga
A peaceful spiritual sequence of Hatha Yoga postures combined with chanting, breathing exercises (Pranayama) and deep relaxation, ending with meditation. Based on the teachings of Swami Satchidananda and his teacher, Swami Sivananda Parmhansa. For All Levels |
Anusara Yoga
Hatha Yoga that focuses on the alignment and form of individual postures. Helps prevent injuries and makes yoga practice more efficient using methods developed by John Friend. An excellent complement to any yoga style or for rehabilitation after injury. For All Levels. |
Beginners Ashtanga A slow posture flow coordinating breath with postures. Serves as a simple introduction to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga for those students who need more experience before attending Ashtanga 1. For Beginners. |
Community Yoga
An easy inexpensive Ashtanga Class dedicated to the Clifton Community. Practice basic principles of breath, bandhas, drishti and vinyasa using key standing and seated postures from a Modified Primary Ashtanga Series. For Beginners ($3 Suggested Donation). |
Ashtanga 1
A dynamic practice using a Modified Primary Series based on variations from the Primary Series developed by Pattabhi Jois. Develops endurance, inner strength, and flexibility while burning toxins and overcoming fatigue. Creates a firm foundation for building an Ashtanga practice. For Reasonably Fit Beginners. |

Ashtanga 2

Power Yoga

Yin Yoga A soft meditative form of stretching and inner reflection that is a wonderful complement to active yoga styles. Uses long passive holds, which lengthen the body's deeper connective tissues and change neural-muscular patterns. Increases flexibility and ease of movement. For All Fitness Levels. |
Ayurvedic Meridian Yoga (Yin & Vinyasa) An exploration of the subtle energetic properties of asana practice. This class combines Taoist Yoga principles with Ayurvedic Yoga principles with the intention to balance the flow of subtle energy through the various energy pathways in the body through the use of stretching and pressure points. Although parts of this class may be physically challenging it is more concerned with feeling good than getting into shape. For All Fitness Levels. |
Pilates Mat Class
Incorporates Eastern and Western exercises to realign posture, improve balance, and strengthen abdominal & back muscles. Originally developed by Joseph Pilates for professional dancers and athletes to strengthen, stretch, and build their core strength. For All Fitness Levels. |
Yogalates
Fun-filled dynamic movements combining the best of yoga postures and pilates exercises. Increases core strength, endurance, and flexibility-while having a good time. Good for post-natal bulge, spare tires, flabby abs, slow metabolism, and computer slump. Previous Yoga or Pilates experience recommended. |
Meditation
